In NYP’s defense, if that is possible, the Stimulus Bill was not even written by Obama. It was written by Pelosi and other members of Congress (along with lobbyists).  The monkey in the cartoon is a reference to politicians in general. George Bush was called a monkey for 8 years and nobody said anything.  People who are offended by this cartoon are the one’s assuming that the monkey is supposed to be Obama. Now that’s racist.

In retrospect, the cartoon should have never been published.  Any publication which suggests the murder of any human being as a joke is not appropriate or funny.
